About the role
- Lead the analysis, documentation, and refinement of business requirements for high-impact, complex initiatives
- Serve as a liaison between the Business, Architecture, Development and Testing teams throughout the project life cycle
- Identify, assess, and document business requirements, recommending business priorities, and advising business on options, risks, and costs
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other functional documentation
- Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to ensure business needs are reflected in technical designs
- Work closely with Agile teams and business stakeholders to ensure all scenarios are properly tested, defects are resolved, and the delivered solution meets business expectations and quality standards
- Deliver various project related artifacts throughout the Software Development Lifecycle and assist the Software Quality Team to ensure requirements translate into test cases
- Assist in triaging defects and bugs related to assigned projects in a timely manner considering project timelines
- Contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews and develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to the IT team
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of both business operations and IT systems
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Able to assess and articulate the impact of business decisions across organizational departments
- Demonstrated ability to lead with minimal supervision and make sound decisions under uncertainty
- Able to comfortably operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with multiple concurrent priorities

- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Must have the ability easily assimilate information and learn new applications and processes
- Must have the ability to analyze complex system requirements and present findings to both internal and external stakeholders in a simple and comprehensible manner
- Must understand the defect management and resolution process
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider 8+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in business analysis, preferably in large-scale or enterprise environments
- Proven experience in Agile environments, including writing user stories and working within cross-functional scrum teams
- Prior knowledge/hands on experience using JIRA and Confluence preferred
- Prior experience with Salesforce Platform is preferred
- Must have experience operating in Agile SDLC; knowledge of Waterfall is a plus
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of process flow charting tools like Visio/LucidChart
