About the role
- Lead the planning of broad scale ISC projects that involve Technology, Operations, Marketing, Accounting, and Underwriting business units, including insurance program concepts and M&A activity
- Provide project management for cross business-unit collaboration
- Lead program development, integration, and oversee configuration of rate/quote/bind/issuance systems
- Collaborate with Technology teams and business unit stakeholders to create detailed system and workflow requirements and propose efficient solutions
- Work closely with PMO Business Analysts and Technology on design, documentation, and implementation of configurable information systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance where applicable
- Manage and troubleshoot system-related issues, offer technical support to users, and oversee system upgrades or modifications
- Collaborate with Program Managers and underwriters to evolve and maintain rate, quote, bind, and policy issuance systems
- Facilitate a seamless transition of programs from acquired companies by collaborating with technical and underwriting teams to integrate them into the ISC platform
- Provide project management, tracking, and business updates around key projects and report status to BU Management and C-level
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree required
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in commercial lines insurance underwriting or operations
- 5+ years of project management experience
- PMP or similar certification required
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
- Proficient in Jira and other Project Management Tools
- Experience using tools such as Visio or Figma for workflow mapping preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently drive projects and tasks
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams effectively
- Expertise in information systems design, implementation, security, and troubleshooting within the insurance industry
- Ability to handle multiplate tasks and provide project management capabilities
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
