About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve assigned CMMI revenue targets
  • Identify and qualify enterprise opportunities and advance complex sales cycles
  • Secure new direct-use clients and develop new partner relationships
  • Drive adoption, satisfaction, and retention within accounts
  • Coordinate post-sale engagement and identify expansion opportunities
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, account, and forecasting data in the CRM system
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with marketing, legal, service delivery, fulfillment, and finance
  • Support contracting and invoicing requirements
  • Ensure a seamless transition from sale to delivery
  • Expand adoption of CMMI products and services, including CMMI AIM
  • Strengthen ISACA/CMMI’s strategic partnerships and alliances

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA or BS degree in Business, Sales, or related discipline from an accredited university
  • 10+ years of enterprise sales executive experience
  • Solid familiarity with CMMI, NIST, or similar frameworks and their applications within consultancy and business environments
  • Strong network and established relationships to increase CMMI adoption
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to formulate and develop business partnerships using successful sales strategies and plans
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales roles selling professional services
  • Demonstrated success formulating and enabling business partnerships with large organizations
  • Experience negotiating large-scale contracts and reducing long sales cycles
  • Ability to work independently on a flexible schedule while reaching objectives
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule for clients in multiple time zones
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
