About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for ensuring that the company’s telecommunications projects and operations comply with all applicable regulations, laws, and technical standards.
  • Continuously analyze changes in legislation and technical standards affecting the telecommunications sector, ensuring rapid adaptation of the company’s processes and products.
  • Provide technical and regulatory consultancy to project, development, and operations teams, ensuring all activities comply with requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical and legal documentation, including certifications, licenses, and compliance reports.
  • Develop and deliver training on regulations and regulatory best practices for internal teams.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to regulatory standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate the impact of new regulations and policies on the company’s operations.
  • Collaborate with other areas of the company to develop compliance strategies and risk mitigation measures.
  • Maintain effective communication with regulatory and standards bodies in the electric sector.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on regulatory matters.
  • Manage telecommunications assets and spare-parts inventory.
  • Develop standards and procedures for the Telecommunications system.
  • Drive company vehicles when required, provided the employee is properly licensed and authorized, to perform duties related to the role.
  • Comply with internal and external regulations, policies, instructions, and guidelines; participate in and receive guidance on anti-corruption, anti-bribery and compliance topics; follow health, hygiene and occupational safety rules; adhere to quality management and environmental preservation systems; and use PPE/CPE (personal protective equipment / collective protective equipment) when the activity requires it.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
  • Active CREA registration.
  • Advanced knowledge of telecommunications networks, with experience in transport-layer technologies.
  • Experience with multiplexers, teleprotection systems, IP networks, and routing.
  • Familiarity with procedures and regulations of regulatory bodies applicable to the electric sector.
  • Knowledge of the Network Procedure, with emphasis on module 2.15.
  • Experience in asset management, including control, monitoring, and auditing.
  • Experience using MCPSE (Manual of Asset Control for the Electric Sector – ANEEL).
  • Knowledge of area performance indicators, with a focus on analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in monitoring and managing technical/operational notes.
  • Experience in change management, contributing technical analyses and opinions.
  • Knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance).
