About the role
- Centralize and consolidate the company's purchasing plan, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines
- Work with the finance team to integrate with the budget and track purchasing forecasts by procurement
- Lead regular meetings with all company areas to review actual vs. planned (submission of purchase requisitions)
- Coordinate with the corporate office in Colombia for reporting and strategic alignment
- Monitor the department budget by analyzing expenses, identifying variances and proposing actions to ensure adherence to the approved budget
- Support the analyst and intern in building and tracking procurement performance indicators
- Prepare insights and scenario analyses to support procurement decision-making
- Monitor purchase requisition entries and movements, ensuring efficiency and adherence to the plan, among other responsibilities relevant to the area
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics and/or related fields
- MBA, specialization and/or postgraduate degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of budget management, performance indicators and advanced Excel
- Experience with BI tools is desirable
- Spanish at an intermediate/advanced level is a plus (due to interaction with Colombia)
