Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the specification, supplier quality qualification, manufacturing process/capability verification, technical support for RFQ, value engineering, and support procurement of critical infrastructure components.
Serve as the technical liaison for vendors, handling component specification inquiries, resolving supply issues, and managing vendor performance.
Translate high-level engineering requirements into detailed purchasing specifications.
Independently review and approve vendor technical submittals and datasheets.
Proactively identify and qualify alternates for long-lead or obsolete components.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in supply chain engineering or electrical sourcing.
Domain experience with renewable energy systems (Solar/Wind/Battery), motor drives, substation equipment, electrical switchgear or similar.
