About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join a platform team responsible for the systems that power how customers are provisioned, billed, and managed across the company.
Take on meaningful ownership of services that handle complex billing and tenant lifecycle workflows, including usage-based billing.
Spend most of your time in the backend building scalable, event-driven services.
Contribute to the front-end surfaces that internal and external stakeholders rely on to interact with these systems.
Thrive with ambiguity, own technical direction, and ship quickly with strong product and engineering judgment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proficiency in a backend programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or similar).
Hands-on experience building user interfaces with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience working in an event-driven distributed architecture with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ).
Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture and microservices best practices.
Experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs and/or gRPC from both the client and server side.
Ability to identify problems/opportunities, break them down into critical parts, and design scalable solutions.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
Experience writing unit and integration tests across the stack.
Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
Strong experience with peer code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
