About the role
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for all GTM functions, including ARR modeling, bookings, revenue, headcount, and pipeline capacity.
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Outcomes to develop data-driven financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Build and evolve models to support Ironclad’s shift into upmarket/enterprise while maintaining efficiency across our mid-market business.
- Collaborate with GTM Operations and People teams to plan headcount and hiring pacing, analyze sales productivity, and align compensation with revenue targets.
- Create and deliver executive-ready dashboards and financial narratives for leadership, board meetings, and business reviews.
- Provide forward-looking analysis on GTM performance, resource allocation, budget-to-actuals variance, and scenario planning.
- Support annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and long-range models with segmentation by GTM motion (mid-market vs. enterprise).
- Develop, coach, and scale a team of high-performing GTM finance professionals.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, automate workflows, and refine planning processes to support scale.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, consulting, or investment banking, ideally with direct experience supporting GTM teams in high-growth SaaS businesses.
- Strong command of SaaS metrics including ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, pipeline coverage, upsell/expansion, and GTM efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and partner cross-functionally with GTM, RevOps, and Finance stakeholders.
- Advanced financial modeling skills and experience building robust reporting frameworks that support scalable growth.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial planning systems such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or Planful; working knowledge of Salesforce, NetSuite, and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
