About the role
- Build and maintain internal tools that improve developer workflow efficiency
- Implement automation solutions for common development tasks
- Contribute to monitoring systems for developer productivity metrics
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to identify pain points
- Write clear documentation for tools and processes
- Support and maintain existing developer tools
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Focus on creating tools, automation, and infrastructure to enhance the productivity of development teams
- Improve developer workflows, reduce manual processes, and ensure a seamless development experience across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS OR GCP OR Azure)
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and RESTful API design and development
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Experience building internal developer platforms or developer tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (preferred)
- Experience with workflow automation (preferred)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (preferred)
- Contributions to open-source projects (preferred)
- Experience with API design (preferred)
- Must be able to commute to San Francisco office at least twice a week (hybrid role)
