About the role
- Lead the development and maintenance of the federal opportunity pipeline, ensuring alignment with the corporate growth priorities.
- Support development and maintenance of opportunities in collaboration with other growth members.
- Support development and maintenance of BD infrastructure including CRM updates, trackers, content libraries, and past performance repositories.
- Identify teaming opportunities, conduct outreach to potential partners, and support or lead teaming negotiations.
- Provide competitive and market analysis to inform strategy and new market entry.
- Support proposal activities in coordination with capture and proposal managers, including shaping win themes, compliance reviews, partner coordination, content development and reviews.
- Develop compliant, competitive pricing models for bids across IronArch’s portfolio.
- Lead price-to-win analysis, subcontractor negotiations, and partner rate integration.
- Collaborate with Finance and executives to establish pricing assumptions, margin goals, and revenue forecasts.
- Provide recommendations on fee structures, risk assessments, and discount strategies.
- Partner with leadership to support annual growth planning and forecasting.
- Provide insights into procurement trends, GWAC strategies, and small business considerations.
- Support the pursuit of opportunities across VA and non-VA markets, including early-stage pursuits and partnership development.
- Support strategic growth initiatives (e.g. mentor-protégé strategy) and budget planning.
- Mentor and guide BD team members in BD operations and pricing best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in federal contracting with a focus on business development and expertise in pricing.
- Demonstrated success supporting or leading pursuits across multiple federal agencies.
- Strong knowledge of federal procurement, contract vehicle strategy, and pricing compliance.
- Hands-on experience negotiating with partners and managing subcontractor inputs.
- Excellent writing, compliance review, and proposal support skills.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills; able to work across executives, capture managers, and technical SMEs.
