About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive Global Process Standardization: Design and implement a cohesive global framework to standardize manufacturing, test and business processes across multiple international sites, consolidating legacy regional documentation into a single engineering truth.
- Lead Lean & Continuous Improvement: Execute global Value Stream Mapping (VSM) exercises to identify waste, build and manage a high-ROI lean project pipeline, and cultivate a robust global Kaizen culture through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Advance Automation & Industry 4.0: Identify high-value opportunities to augment manual workflows with Collaborative Robots (Cobots) and partner with Data Science teams to implement Machine Learning models for predictive maintenance and yield optimization.
- Ensure Safety & Quality Compliance: Enforce "Design for Safety" (DfS) protocols to reduce incident rates, architect 1:1 component-level traceability frameworks to meet client audit requirements, and align all engineering outputs with Customer Quality Agreements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10–15+ years of senior leadership experience within a High-Variation/High-Mix manufacturing environment, with a strong preference for Tier 1 Contract Electronics Manufacturing background.
- Expert-level knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and the Theory of Constraints (Six Sigma Black Belt preferred), paired with practical experience deploying Cobots and machine learning sensors.
- A proven track record of managing remote teams across international time zones (EMEA, AMER, APAC) and the exceptional communication skills required to influence regional site leads to adopt global standards.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; an MBA or advanced degree in Operations Management is a significant advantage.
