About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the refresh of capitalised labor and interest methodologies by designing and implementing new processes for forecasting and calculating these metrics to ensure financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with Corporate Accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis teams to manage the consolidation of capital data and negotiate with stakeholders to align on financial outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with organisational standards by conducting specialised reviews of Operating Expenses and evaluating maintenance growth versus recurring capital costs to ensure all classifications are accurate.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis with a focus on capital reporting and specialised depth in financial job disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of capitalised labor, interest, and capital/operating expense classification to improve internal financial processes and services.
- Proven ability in complex problem-solving and stakeholder management, specifically the ability to explain difficult concepts and negotiate different points of view.
- A relevant degree or certification in Finance or Accounting (such as a Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant designation) is preferred to support complex financial modelling.
