About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and manage a cost and commercial management process while ensuring project forecasts align with current funding, billings, and month-end/yearly close-out activities.
  • Support the change control process by evaluating budget revisions, reviewing contractor invoices, and flagging potential risks or changes in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the development of governance and training materials while ensuring all projects operate within approved parameters and organizational standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 10 years of experience in the delivery of mission-critical construction projects, specifically within corporate real estate or military settings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in budgeting, accounting, and the use of cost control systems such as Oracle, Tririga, or Google Live Sheets.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders through logical arguments, think creatively, and operate with substantial independence.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional certifications like PMP or P.E. are industry-standard and highly desirable.
