About the role
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and project controls—including budget, schedule, and risk—to drive the "refresh" of aging data centers from site assessment through facility activation.
- Partner closely with IMDC operations, internal departments, and external vendors to align technical, safety, and delivery protocols across various US jurisdictions.
- Oversee design development and commissioning activities to ensure all projects strictly adhere to building codes, international standards, and organizational safety policies.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in mission-critical MEP, data centers, or high-tech labs, specifically within "live" operating environments.
- Strong knowledge of technical systems, including MEP, UPS, chillers, and BMS, along with proficiency in project tools like Procore and Bluebeam.
- Proven ability in leadership and project management, with the capacity to manage complex, multi-project environments and lead procurement under AIA-type documents.
- A degree in Engineering or Construction/Project Management or equivalent experience and preferably a PMP certification.
