Key responsibilities & impact

Support emergency department and inpatient teams with high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations
Collaborate with highly trained Iris PMHNP
Provide remote consults for IP/ER/ED
Participate in weekend shifts averaging 1-2 days per month

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active medical license, TX license required and/or IMLC Letter of Qualification is a plus.
Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry, open to considering extremely experienced PMHNPs
Board Certification Required
At least 2 years of post-residency consult-liaison experience.
Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 5+ for ED/ER consults
Comfortable working with multiple health systems and varying acuity levels
Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
