About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support emergency department and inpatient teams with high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations
- Collaborate with highly trained Iris PMHNP
- Provide remote consults for IP/ER/ED
- Participate in weekend shifts averaging 1-2 days per month
- Focus on providing excellent patient care and maintaining a healthy work-life balance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active medical license, TX license required and/or IMLC Letter of Qualification is a plus.
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry, open to considering extremely experienced PMHNPs
- Board Certification Required
- At least 2 years of post-residency consult-liaison experience.
- Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 5+ for ED/ER consults
- Comfortable working with multiple health systems and varying acuity levels
- Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
