About the role

  • Partnering with Commercial, Product and Support teams to design solutions that go beyond single-product use cases
  • Supporting early-stage opportunities by working alongside Sales and Account Managers to validate solution feasibility
  • Building strong client relationships to understand, shape and define business needs and desired outcomes
  • Leading solution design discussions using user story mapping, iterative design techniques and best-practice approaches
  • Translating client requirements into scalable, repeatable solution designs aligned to existing product and integration capabilities
  • Ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams by creating a shared understanding of client goals and solution vision
  • Documenting scope, managing changes and ensuring designs can be effectively delivered by implementation teams
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing insight into industry trends, best practice and solution value
  • Developing prototypes and contributing to configuration and testing activities to bring solutions to life
  • Leveraging your expertise to continuously uplift and scale the client experience across Iress

Requirements

  • A strong consulting presence with exceptional communication skills, able to influence and build trust at all levels
  • Proven ability to elicit, define and translate client requirements into clear user journeys and incremental delivery milestones
  • Deep expertise in Xplan, with broader knowledge of the Iress product suite highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of client markets, business models and commercial drivers within financial services
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex challenges and align them to solution outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritising effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesise and interpret complex information from multiple sources
  • Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with tools such as Jira (preferred)
  • A creative mindset, with the ability to shape innovative yet practical solutions
