Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices using Python
Build and enhance full-stack applications spanning React frontends and API-based backend services
Develop, deploy, and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Contribute to cloud-native solutions running on Azure
Write automated tests and maintain high standards of software quality
Review code, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance across the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
4–6+ years of professional software engineering experience
Proven experience delivering production software solutions independently
Experience working in Agile product development environments
Advanced Python development experience
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and Microservice Architecture
Experience designing scalable backend services
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and design patterns
Experience with Node.js
Experience developing frontend applications using React
Hands-on experience with Docker
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
Experience working within Azure environments
Strong SQL skills
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
Familiarity with analytical platforms such as Snowflake
