About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive business growth for Pharma Review's scientific content and medical review and approval offerings
  • Engage with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to understand their scientific communication, publication, and content development needs
  • Position Pharma Review's capabilities to prospective and existing clients
  • Work with scientific and operational teams to develop tailored solutions aligned to client objectives
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and support new business acquisition
  • Develop value propositions that demonstrate the impact of high-quality scientific content on client objectives
  • Support proposal development, client presentations, and commercial discussions
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create compelling solution narratives and case studies
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support the evolution of Pharma Review's service offerings
  • Support the development of sales collateral, client-facing content, and business development materials
  • Promote awareness of Pharma Review capabilities across IQVIA commercial teams
  • Contribute to thought leadership activities focused on scientific communications, medical writing, publications, and content innovation
  • Represent Pharma Review at industry conferences and client meetings, as appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, medical communications, scientific services, or related commercial roles within life sciences
  • Strong understanding of scientific communications, medical writing, publications, medical review processes, and content development
  • Experience engaging with pharmaceutical and biotech stakeholders
  • Commercial mindset with a proven ability to identify and develop business opportunities
  • Ability to translate client needs into tailored scientific content solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in medical communications agencies, scientific content organizations, CROs, or related service providers is highly desirable
  • Deep knowledge of review and approval process, and relevant codes (EFPIA, ABPI)
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled content creation, content operations, or digital scientific communications is advantageous
