About the role
- Shape and direct the ophthalmology landscape in the South West
- Maximise opportunities and investments using negotiation skills
- Producing and implementing bespoke initiatives that enables access to the use of client's products by NHS and private providers
- Maintain a high degree of knowledge of defined therapy areas and NHS policies
- Proactively review current positions and provide solutions to ensure the use of client’s products
Requirements
- ABPI qualification
- A high level of selling, commercial acumen and negotiating skills
- The ability to develop positive relationships with all key customers including clinician, commissioners and business managers
- A proven track record of speciality medicine/ high cost drug sales and pathways
- Up to date knowledge of the product, disease area and customer environment, including the NHS budgetary and planning processes
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
