About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Under general supervision, responsible for developing and preparing high‑quality budgets and proposals for assigned customers
Review Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to identify required information for proposal text and budget development
Collaborate closely with the business development team to prepare and finalize submissions
Develop proposal narratives and cost budgets for new proposals, re‑bids, change orders, and related documents
Revise or develop preliminary agreements and related budgets
Ensure scope of work is clearly defined and budgets accurately reflect agreed scope
Develop and maintain an understanding of all processes, policies, and guidelines relating to proposal development
Participate in strategic discussions and calls to clarify customer requirements
Perform quality control reviews and edits on proposal documents
Support the finalization and distribution of proposal documents

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
Previous experience in proposal development, contracts, budgeting, sales support, or a related function preferred
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high‑quality documents under deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with proposal management tools and databases is an advantage
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams
Ability work with AI agents (e.g., Copilot)
