About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Secure and retain business through consultative sales activities
- Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers
- Maintain knowledge of all IQVIA services
- Analyze opportunities and develop sales plans
- Monitor actions and results against plans
- Prepare and lead sales presentations
- Communicate regularly with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Record activities in CRM system
- Serve as liaison between customer and technical groups
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business management
- 12 years related experience, including 5 years in relevant industry (CRO/Pharmaceutical) and/or sales
- Proven track record with mid-level and high-level contacts
- Excellent Business/Industry awareness
- Solid understanding of commercialization principles
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to maintain demanding timelines
- Ability to influence others internally and externally
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
- 30% travel required (based on location)
