About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic leadership to a field-based sales team
- Leverage market insights, customer requirements, and market access dynamics
- Conduct routine field visits to coach and motivate sales representatives
- Oversee performance evaluations, personnel issues, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with promotional programs and adherence to budgets
- Manage recruitment, interviewing, and selection of talent
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university
- Willingness to travel extensively
- A minimum of five years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales is strongly preferred.
- High level business & financial acumen
- Creative thinker with an ability to address challenges and deliver solutions
- Demonstrated success in persuasion, influence and negotiation skills
- Initiative, execution oriented
- Cross functional teamwork experience & skills
