About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic leadership to a field-based sales team
- Leverage market insights, customer requirements, and market access dynamics to achieve and surpass business objectives
- Develop, implement, and execute both district and account-level plans
- Lead periodic district sales meetings designed to facilitate training
- Contribute to the planning and execution of annual business plans, employee training initiatives, and regular sales meetings
- Conduct routine field visits to coach, develop, and motivate sales representatives towards the achievement of sales goals
- Ensure compliance with promotional programs and appropriate use of promotional materials
- Review and approve expense reports and monitor adherence to company expense policies
- Maintain consistent and timely communication with the Project Lead/NSM and the client
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university
- Willingness to travel extensively
- A minimum of five years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales is strongly preferred.
- High level business & financial acumen
- Creative thinker with an ability to address challenges and deliver solutions
- Demonstrated success in persuasion, influence and negotiation skills
- Initiative, execution oriented
- Cross functional teamwork experience & skills
- Uphold client/IQVIA values & ethics
