About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide education about specific diabetes treatments and resources to help patients manage their diabetes
  • Participate in one-on-one communications with enrolled patients by telephone, video platforms, email and SMS
  • Must work from a dedicated workspace in their primary home residence
  • Experience with direct patient interaction and support for persistence and compliance
  • Demonstrated time management skills; planning and prioritization skills; ability to multi-task and maintain prioritization of key projects and deadlines
  • Demonstrated effective presentation skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with customers and cross-functional partners
  • Fully competent in MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ year as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
  • Complete understanding and application of principles, practices, and standards in diabetes care directly with patients
  • Must reside in country where the job is posted.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Pharmacist, or other relevant certifications that are Healthcare related
  • Contact Center Experience using a telephony platform
  • Bilingual (i.e., fluency in Spanish and English)
  • Motivational Interviewing experience
