About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate as strategic individual contributor, with seat at the management team table.
- Focus on influencing and driving business results through value-add proven practices while soliciting innovative & creative-thinking.
- Create significant impact through coaching of senior leaders and leveraging the HR Business Partner team which is led by a center of excellence design.
- Influence and shape people practices and overall strategies for the US business unit as part of the regional business unit HR leadership team.
- Use data and facts to inform current decisions and influence towards future outcomes.
- Partner with HR specialist functions like Learning and Development, Compensation, Benefits and Talent Acquisition to solve business needs and ensure appropriate delivery.
- Provide HR Partner with management coaching and counseling to business leaders and managers to effectively meet business line/region goals.
- Design and lead implementation of solutions to enhance and grow the business, including organizational design and development, management and talent development, employee engagement initiatives along with others.
- Lead activities and initiatives associated with change management involving reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions, onboarding and manager upskilling.
- Ensure the communication of timely employee-related information to management teams as necessary.
- Provide advice, guidance and direct support on all aspects related to people management to senior management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree with min 8 years experience as a generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience
- Experience partnering with senior/executive management teams
- Excellent analytical problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills in highly complex situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and very good interpersonal skills, including expert coaching and counselling skills
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare and/or related business industries desired
- Sound knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation
- The ideal candidate will bring experience of enabling AI-augmentation within an HR/talent organization
- Experience of workforce, skills, talent planning and career paths would be preferred
- Very effective persuasive influencing skills
- Organization and project management skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong ability to work in a matrix environment
- Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain network of effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
