About the role

  • Supports the development of high-quality literature review materials (protocols, study selection, data extraction, report)
  • Develops an in-depth knowledge of quality standards and best practice methodologies required for literature reviews in HTA submissions
  • Works flexibly across multiple projects, successfully managing their time to complete their assigned work to meet deadlines at a consistently high standard
  • Demonstrates fluency in conversational and business English through slide deck development, report writing, and presentations

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as health or bioscience-related, medicine, biomedical sciences, health economics, health policy, epidemiology, public health, or information science AND relevant experience or internship(s)
  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant field (discipline such as health or bioscience-related, medicine, biomedical sciences, health economics, health policy, epidemiology, public health, or information science)
  • A good knowledge of literature review methods (PRISMA principles, Cochrane guideline for SLRs)
  • Experience with the use of databases such as EMBASE, MEDLINE, Cochrane, PubMed, etc.
  • Experience or familiarity with literature review methodology, conducting and reporting is desirable
  • An understanding of the principles of evidence-based healthcare, critical appraisal and the interpretation and synthesis of health care research evidence is desirable
  • Experience in healthcare consulting / experience in the life science industry or within academia is desirable but not essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
  • Enthusiastic about learning about systematic reviews and health care decision making
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
