About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join IQVIA as a Manager and play a key role in executing and delivering on primary literature reviews, data collection efforts, and analysis/reporting of qualitative and/or quantitative data.
- Your expertise will support customers in life science and population health markets with patient reported outcome (PRO) and other COA solutions.
- Responsible for the on-time completion of projects or components of large, complex projects for clients in the life sciences field.
- Identify and elevate potential new business opportunities and assist in the business development and proposal process.
- Provide direction and guidance to Consultants.
- Develop or oversee development of detailed documentation and specifications, including protocol and study document development.
- Perform or oversee qualitative analyses to assist in the reporting of studies to address client needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s or doctorate degree in the social sciences or life sciences.
- 5–8 years of consulting experience managing and delivering COA (mainly PRO) selection, creation, and validation projects for pharmaceutical or life sciences clients.
- Solid project management skills and client relationship building skills.
- Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the life science industry, particularly around qualitative and mixed-methods approaches to COA development and validation.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Experience in qualitative research methods and literature review methods required. Additional survey research and mixed-methods or quantitative research methods experience preferred. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with bibliographic software, such as Zotero; experience with qualitative coding software, such as MAXQDA.
- Fluency in English.
