About the role
- Provide laboratory data support as a junior (entry-level) member of the team
- Independently perform lab data management (LDM) tasks for studies assigned to IQVIA
- Respond to internal and external data reporting needs
- Successfully complete all lab data management and Python programming training
- Perform data transfer activities as part of the lab data management team, under appropriate supervision
- Resolve queries for all completed data transfer activities, with guidance
- Support the development of Python programs to generate client-specific data deliverables, under supervision
- Participate in configuring settings in LDM systems to create new data transfer flows, with coaching
- Be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with guidance
- Demonstrate strong rigor and close attention to detail in all tasks performed within the LDM team
- Regularly inform team leadership members of the status and progress of studies and activities
- Copy the study lead on all communications relevant to the study
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Self-reliant and proactive approach
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate, resolve, or escalate issues; openness to change
- Good analytical skills
- Strong sense of ethics, integrity, and quality, with adherence to laws, regulatory standards, company policies, and procedures
- Proficiency with computer tools including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- General understanding of the medical field and clinical research
- Basic knowledge of Python programming
