About the role

  • IQVIA Non-Pharma team serving clients that do not own pharmaceutical products (agencies, consulting firms, consumer health, law firms, academic institutions, etc.).
  • Deliver digital enablement, data solutions, real world evidence & insights, primary intelligence, omnichannel services, and contract sales & medical solutions.
  • Focus on business development and account management across the Non-Pharma portfolio; translate complex healthcare data into actionable intelligence for clients.
  • Foster positive relationships with existing clients and create new partnerships within the Non-Pharma client segment.
  • Analyze, process, and triage inbound customer leads (MQLs, inbound phone calls/voicemails) and drive early engagement via internet research and cold calling.
  • Interact with C-suite level executives and continuously monitor status of leads and opportunities to maintain pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Finance, Client Service, Contracts and Legal; communicate with sales management to forecast opportunities and identify process improvements.
  • Create, monitor and update tracking documents; report all sales activities in CRM; serve as liaison between customer and technical/operational groups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field and at least 1 year of related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and account management.
  • Experience working within the healthcare and/or life sciences industry is highly preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and with existing and prospective customers.
  • Knowledge of IQVIA products and services preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of key marketplace catalysts for the Pharmaceutical, MedTech and/or Consumer Health industry highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize individual workload with assigned targets.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), CRM, and Internet.
