About the role
- Directs financial planning and accounting practices including budgeting, costing, financial analysis, and long-term forecasting for pharmacy rebates.
- Partners with the business to provide subject matter expertise on financial and accounting issues.
- Responsible for pharmacy prescription claims processing and translating strategy into proactive plans.
- Manage, mentor, develop, and lead finance staff.
- Provides monthly financial reporting and ensures achievement of business financial targets.
- Liaison with pharmacies, PBMs, and health plans to resolve payment discrepancies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Financial Management
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, accounting, and finance from the healthcare industry.
- Technical proficiency with financial application software
- Understanding of PBM systems and Medicaid/Medicare billing
- Familiarity with NCPDP standards
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and PCI standards for handling sensitive patient data
- Claims Reconciliation skills with experience in third-party claims adjudication and reconciliation tools
- Experience with reconciliation dashboards and data dictionaries
- Technology proficiency including MS Excel, pharmacy billing software, EHR systems
- Knowledge of US GAAP and financial systems.
