About the role
- Defines, develops, and executes the short and long term technology strategies and operating plans
- Guides the technology roadmap across the multiple businesses and segments
- Communicates business strategy, major developments, and new initiatives
- Provides operational leadership over the technology platforms
- Evaluates and reduces inherited technical debt
- Defines architecture patterns that solve current business challenges
- Partners with various teams for deliverables including client presentations
- Shepherds the IQVIA Interoperability accelerator
- Evaluates and recommends technology enhancements
- Develops content and approach to report on technology evolution and performance
- Maintains a positive working relationship with suppliers, customers, IQVIA teams, and other key sources of information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 12-15 years working experience
- 5 years at the senior management level
- Deep functional experience and in-depth knowledge of technology, bio pharmaceutical industry and patient engagement, data ingestion and interoperability a plus
- Foundational understanding of managerial accounting
- Proven track record in delivery against targets
- Excellent management, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and operational skills
- Presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Proven influencing skills at the senior management level
- Strong commercial marketing, general management and financial skills required
- Very strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
