Defines, develops, and executes the short and long term technology strategies and operating plans
Guides the technology roadmap across the multiple businesses and segments
Communicates business strategy, major developments, and new initiatives
Provides operational leadership over the technology platforms
Evaluates and reduces inherited technical debt
Defines architecture patterns that solve current business challenges
Partners with various teams for deliverables including client presentations
Shepherds the IQVIA Interoperability accelerator
Evaluates and recommends technology enhancements
Develops content and approach to report on technology evolution and performance
Maintains a positive working relationship with suppliers, customers, IQVIA teams, and other key sources of information.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum of 12-15 years working experience
5 years at the senior management level
Deep functional experience and in-depth knowledge of technology, bio pharmaceutical industry and patient engagement, data ingestion and interoperability a plus
Foundational understanding of managerial accounting
Proven track record in delivery against targets
Excellent management, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and operational skills
Presentation skills, both verbal and written
Proven influencing skills at the senior management level
Strong commercial marketing, general management and financial skills required
Very strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
