About the role
- Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions to develop project methodology and recommendations
- Conduct primary and secondary research to inform client solutions
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform strategic recommendations
- Conduct market sizing, competitive landscape assessments, and growth forecasting
- Interview senior leaders and executives on the client team or external stakeholders
- Take ownership for the development of reports, presentations and other client deliverables
- Present to client audiences via teleconference or in face-to-face meetings
- Cultivate professional relationships with members of the client team
- Acquire deep knowledge of IQVIA data sources and tools
- Proactively develop knowledge of the healthcare industry and consulting methodologies
Requirements
- An advanced degree (MPH, MS or MBA) in a life sciences related field with little or no work experience, or relevant undergraduate degree with 1-3 years of relevant post-undergraduate work experience
- Strong capability in managing priorities
- Willingness and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization
- Ability to think creatively and create innovative solutions
- Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
- Demonstrable analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, leading meetings, business and report writing
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques
- Familiarity with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis is a plus
