About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute core UX research project activities with autonomy and accuracy
  • Prepare, collect, analyze, and report research data
  • Create wireframes and support research-based design recommendations
  • Train and mentor Researcher colleagues
  • Lead projects under senior oversight
  • Conduct logistical planning, screener development, recruiting, facility vendor management, discussion guide development, and data collection piloting
  • Manage project financials, team time, and budget accountability
  • Moderate sessions and interviews
  • Write reports and support recommendations and final deliverables
  • Support project teams across different project phases
  • Assist with proposals and new business bidding initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to mentor and coach team members
  • Experience in team leadership, including training
  • Good understanding of client management
  • Basic to proficient discussion guide development skills
  • Ability to moderate a variety of session types and techniques
  • Ability to support logistics and planning throughout the project lifecycle
  • Note-taking ability aligned with research objectives
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships
  • 2+ years of experience in user experience or a related field required
  • 3+ years of experience in UX research or design highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in human factors, HCI, behavioral sciences, or equivalent experience, including a bachelor's in fine arts (BFA)
