About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Data Scientist with us, you will play a central role in developing our data warehouse and analytics platform.
- You design and implement innovative data science and analytics solutions that drive company growth, generate new insights for our clients across diverse industries, and foster innovation.
- You play a key role in operating and advancing our data warehouse and analytics platform using Python and a modern, data-driven Google Cloud architecture.
- You implement and optimize existing data processing pipelines for large, multinational client projects, focusing on standardization and automation.
- You design and implement software solutions to analyze structured and unstructured data from surveys, customer databases, and other sources.
- Together with your team, you advise internal and external stakeholders on efficient data and decision-making processes and translate available data into decision-relevant insights using analytical methods and visualization techniques.
- You work with a modern data engineering and analytics stack — e.g., Python, Docker, Google Cloud, Tableau — and collaborate with the team to develop pragmatic automation solutions for complex analysis workflows.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have 3+ years of experience in data engineering and data science, as well as multivariate data analysis and visualization, and are eager to learn new technologies.
- You have solid Python skills and hands-on experience with relevant libraries (pandas, numpy, pytest, etc.) and are familiar with ETL/ELT processes, common data exchange protocols, interfaces, and data formats. Experience with database systems/SQL, GCP or similar platforms, and working in agile teams is a plus.
- Excellent quantitative degree (M.Sc.), e.g., in STEM, quantitative social sciences, business informatics, or related fields.
- You enjoy working in a team, have a solution-oriented in-house consulting mindset, and prefer to drive initiatives proactively rather than wait for instructions.
- You work in a structured and meticulous way — accuracy is important to you.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken) — German is a plus!
