About the role

  • High-quality maps for business mapping.
  • Maps are at the heart of easymap, and you will create and maintain them.
  • As a (Junior) Consultant, you will be responsible for the quality and timeliness of our maps and data.
  • You understand the challenges involved in producing our products.
  • You identify opportunities to optimize our workflows.
  • You independently update maps and data and creatively research relevant sources.
  • You handle communication with our suppliers and partners.
  • Within the team, you ensure that our products are only delivered once they meet our standards.

Requirements

  • Passion for "Where": You have a degree in geodesy, geoinformatics, or a related field, and you understand coordinate systems, map formats, and generalization.
  • Initial experience: You have already taken first steps in geodata processing (e.g., through internships or student assistant roles).
  • Know-how: You are comfortable with geographic information systems (e.g., QGIS), and working with Python and SQL (ideally PostgreSQL) is part of your toolkit. Tools like Airflow and the use of AI interest you.
  • Quality orientation: You enjoy working in a structured and precise way and delivering high-quality results.
  • Mindset: You are curious, think analytically, and have the drive to see tasks through to completion.
