About the role

  • Support a diverse portfolio of projects across Ipsos NA including predictive modeling, text analytics, data mining, exploration, regression, and time series analyses.
  • Design, train, and utilize machine learning algorithms and data processing pipelines.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify key metrics and opportunities for improving business processes, products, and services.
  • Research and develop new solutions and deployable tools to facilitate market research.
  • Communicate with and provide consulting for internal teams and external clients on data models, analysis findings, process efficiency, and marketing science best practices.
  • Create data visualizations, reports, and sometimes dashboards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest data science techniques and tools available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in statistics, computer science, or related field
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Proficiency in data mining, statistical analysis, time series analysis, and machine learning
  • Proficiency with data science toolkits (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, SciKit Learn, SciPy, etc.)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., MatPlotLib, Plotly, Tableau, D3.js, etc.)
  • Good time management, collaboration, and self-sufficiency skills
