About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute on sales strategies aligned with company goals and supply chain solutions market opportunities.
- Drive and execute on a customer-centric culture whilst delivering operational efficiency and commercial excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Key Account Managers throughout Europe to drive and deliver growth and profitability in the market segment to exceed targets.
- Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and key account growth while expanding existing customer relationships.
- Oversee key account acquisitions, negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, operations, customer service, supply chain) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Run the business based of facts and managing actively the KPI dashboard.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to drive informed decision making relating to strategic direction including an active management of the current portfolio, and proposing the addition of new product based on a solid business plan.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting using CRM tools.
- Foster a unified team culture while retaining key talent and customer relationships.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Deep knowledge of the pooling, reusable transport packaging, warehouse automation, intralogistics, material handling, and system integration ecosystem, including key market drivers, industry trends, customer requirements, and competitive dynamics.
- Established industry network and strong credibility with senior-level customer stakeholders across logistics, supply chain, automation, warehousing, pooling, and related sectors.
- Proven experience leading a substantial commercial organization and managing a significant revenue portfolio, ideally exceeding €100 million in annual revenue.
- Strong commercial ownership with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and overall business performance.
- Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed teams across multiple countries and driving organizational transformation, performance improvement, and commercial excellence initiatives.
- Proven ability to define and execute market segment strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Track record of rebuilding and strengthening strategic customer relationships while identifying and converting market opportunities into sustainable and profitable growth.
- Experience developing and implementing growth strategies through a combination of account expansion, new business acquisition, strategic partnerships, and market development initiatives.
- Strong leadership capability with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing sales teams within complex, multinational environments.
