About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute supply planning according to the defined cadence, workflow, and carrier
- Assess opportunities for backhaul operations
- Identify and alert the logistics chain to carrier gaps and alternative options with available trucks
- Prevent detention/demurrage by informing relevant teams of possible alternative routing or movements
- Guide and train carriers on tools and key performance indicators
- Support logistics planning
- Monitor deadlines and deliveries
- Analyze performance metrics (OTIF, lead time, service level)
- Support continuous improvement processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields
- Intermediate Excel
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, SAP; experience with TMS
