About the role
- Lead strategic and operational procurement processes, ensuring the best cost-benefit ratio, quality, and delivery timelines for operational areas; act as a business partner by supporting internal teams in scope definition, demand planning, and prioritization of needs
- Execute Strategic Sourcing processes, including market analysis, strategy definition, conducting RFPs/RFQs, and negotiating with suppliers
- Manage service and material contracts, ensuring adherence to deadlines, service levels, compliance, and technical requirements
- Support large-scale construction projects and interventions, ensuring alignment between engineering, operations, and suppliers
- Conduct cost, risk, and supplier performance analyses, proposing savings opportunities and risk mitigation measures
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, acting as the focal point for procurement requests from operational areas
- Identify opportunities to optimize the acquisition process, contributing to the continuous improvement of the team's practices
- Monitor category KPIs, prepare performance reports, and present results to leadership.
Requirements
- Experience: Solid experience in procurement, preferably in industrial, energy, infrastructure, and oil & gas sectors with complex operations
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities; analytical, structured, and results-oriented profile; good communication skills and the ability to translate technical needs into procurement requirements; organized, autonomous, and capable of handling multiple simultaneous demands; ability to partner with internal teams and manage stakeholders
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Strategic Sourcing processes and contract management; TCO, benchmarking, and category planning; experience with procurement platforms and ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, and Coupa); advanced Excel; familiarity with contract law, safety standards, and engineering technical documentation is desirable
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related fields; post-graduate degree is a plus
- Languages: Intermediate English (advantage)
