About the role

  • We are seeking a Mid-level Controllership Analyst to focus on controllership activities, ensuring the reliability of the company's management and financial reporting.
  • The professional will provide support to financial management, ensuring correct execution of processes, internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies.
  • Responsible for full oversight of activities related to Trading operations, ensuring correct execution of the associated operational, financial and accounting processes;
  • Prepare, analyze and reconcile financial statements and management reports, ensuring consistency and accuracy of information;
  • Perform variance analyses, identifying causes and impacts and proposing corrective actions;
  • Support the monthly accounting close, interacting with the Shared Services Center (SSC) to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality;
  • Monitor and validate journal entries, provisions, adjustments and reconciliations of key balance sheet and income statement accounts;
  • Serve as a support point for internal teams, providing technical assistance and resolving queries;
  • Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of processes and internal controls;
  • Provide support for internal and external audits, including SOX compliance-related activities;
  • Participate in the accounting design of new company operations, assessing impacts, risks and compliance with current standards.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in controllership or accounting;
  • Knowledge of income statement (P&L), cash flow, costing and bank reconciliation;
  • Knowledge of derivative instruments; familiarity with IFRS and CPC (Brazilian accounting standards);
  • Experience in Trading (plus);
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts);
  • Analytical, organized, detail-oriented and proactive profile;
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
  • Postgraduate degree in Finance (plus);
  • Advanced English (required)
