About the role
- Align and maintain constant communication with internal departments to ensure efficient settlement of daily physical and fiscal inbound operations.
- Review and verify documents such as goods receipt invoices and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
- Validate and forward documents to the finance team, focusing on timeliness and accuracy of data to support payment deadlines.
- Extract, update, and maintain databases for monitoring operations, data flow, and performance indicators.
- Perform cash provisioning to ensure due dates and agreed terms with suppliers are met.
- Monitor inventory positions.
- Direct contact with clients to fulfill negotiated agreements.
- Send reports and performance indicators.
- Analyze reports and indicators, and create and monitor action plans related to the metrics.
- Provide lateral leadership with peers and other departments.
- Monitor CTRM system postings and conduct critical analysis to identify inconsistencies.
- Participate in and support ERP implementation projects.
Requirements
- Some experience in trading operations, preferably with oil products.
- Knowledge of physical inbound and fiscal (tax) entry processes.
- Familiarity with fiscal documentation and ERP systems.
- Understanding of financial flows and provisioning.
- Clear, objective, and assertive communication.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Organizational skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Proactive with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Advanced Office suite skills, especially Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Power BI; knowledge of CTRM is a plus.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); intermediate to fluent Spanish is desirable.
