About the role
- Align with and maintain constant communication with internal areas to ensure efficient closing of daily physical and fiscal trading operations.
- Review and verify documents, such as goods-in invoices and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal processes.
- Validate and forward documents to the finance department, focusing on timeliness and data accuracy to support on-time payments.
- Extract, update, and maintain databases to monitor operations, data flows, and performance indicators.
- Perform cash provisioning to ensure compliance with due dates and payment terms agreed with suppliers.
Requirements
- Some experience in trading operations, preferably with oil products.
- Experience with fuel import and export via maritime and road modes, demurrage, and loss control.
- Knowledge of physical and fiscal goods-in processes.
- Familiarity with tax/invoice documentation and ERP systems.
- Basic understanding of financial flows and provisioning.
- Clear, objective, and assertive communication.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Organizational skills, critical analysis, and attention to detail.
- Proactive and responsible.
- Advanced Office suite skills, especially Excel; experience with data analysis tools and Power BI; knowledge of CTRM is a plus.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); intermediate to fluent Spanish is desirable.
