About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Quality Assurance Team within the Awarding Organisation function
Ensure compliance and quality of assessment and delivery networks for qualifications
Manage and coordinate the lifecycle of assessed provision from registration to certification
Ensure adherence to education regulatory requirements through approvals, audits, and monitoring of centres/providers
Coach colleagues to improve regulatory understanding and service delivery
Produce regular and ad hoc reports to inform management decision-making and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in quality assurance, compliance, or regulatory roles within education or awarding organisations
Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate, and develop a team of quality assurance professionals
In-depth knowledge of assessment practices, audit processes, and relevant regulatory requirements
Excellent organisational and project management skills to oversee multiple centres, providers, and programmes simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide guidance and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential conflicts of interest
Analytical ability to produce insightful reports that drive continuous improvement initiatives
Knowledge and experience of assessment and training principles
Knowledge of quality systems and processes
Experience of completing internal and external audits in a regulated environment
Desired qualifications: Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice, Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
