About the role
- Lead strategic Heath Care Provider (HCP) and Patient initiatives aimed to shape the AxD market, build a compelling brand, support a successful product launch, and drive brand growth
- Responsible for executing market development through HCP and Patient / Caregiver DSE with AOR and omni teams
- Create and deliver core brand elements, HCP and Patient campaigns, messaging, and core claims, ensuring alignment with strategy and complimentary to other key audience engagement plans
- Develop field sales materials and patient facing materials with consistent pull-through of aligned messages
- Partner closely with cross-functional partners and Above Brand Leads (Comm Ops, US MAx, Patient Services) to prioritize, focus, and gain alignment on the most impactful campaigns and associated messaging to deliver brand objectives
- Lead opportunities for external influence with HCPs, including speaker bureau, congress strategy and execution, and expert theaters
- Develop, evolve, and optimize non-personal promotion in close collaboration with AOR and omnichannel, including websites, media drivers, emails, etc.
- Manage materials, projects, and resources through the internal review committee process (Promotional Review Committee)
- Oversee relationships with external creative and strategic agencies / vendors to ensure execution toward business objectives
- Lead / Support the integrated strategic planning process (ISPP), including brand planning, tactical planning, and budget accountability
- Attends key medical and patient conferences and builds strong, appropriate relationships with patients and advocacy groups to understand the patient journey and support the community
- Partners with Launch Excellence and Planning (LEAP) team on Integrated Launch Plan and Launch Readiness Reviews
- Supports Launch Readiness Workstreams (Commercial, GTM, etc)
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. required; MBA preferred
- 15+ years of experience in pharma/biotech marketing with bachelor’s degree OR 12 years of experience in pharma/biotech marketing with a Master’s/advanced degree
- 4+ years of HCP-focused marketing preferred
- Work experience in neurology, and/or product launches is strongly preferred
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment – through consistent effort, determination, teamwork, and ability to influence colleagues
- Strategic thinking, including being creative in addressing key challenges, applying innovative ideas, and taking measured risks
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- High respect for the science

- Field sales/thought leader outreach experience

- Skilled at developing and delivering concise, relevant, and well-supported presentations or briefings
- Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and interpret complex issues and provide appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas
- Has intellectual curiosity to expand relevant medical, scientific, and commercial experience.
- Adaptable and able to work well across multiple departments and within cross-functional team.
- Ability to travel (10-25%)
