About the role
- New customer acquisition & pipeline development
- Actively identify and approach potential new customers across various channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, events, etc.)
- Build and continuously maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Develop and implement outreach strategies for lead generation
- Independently schedule and conduct initial meetings
- Analyze customer requirements and derive appropriate digital solutions
- Advise on topics such as digital transformation, system modernization and platform strategies
- Close coordination with internal teams (Tech, Strategy, Delivery) to develop suitable proposals
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing
- Prepare and present proposals and concepts
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Document and maintain all activities in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot)
- Build and maintain a strong network in relevant industries
- Participate in events, trade shows and industry formats for lead generation
- Position the company as a trusted partner for digital projects
Requirements
- Several years of experience in sales, business development or account management (ideally in the digital space)
- Proven track record in new customer acquisition and building sales pipelines
- Strong technical understanding of digital projects, platforms and IT infrastructures
- Ideally experience with ERP systems, legacy modernization or complex system landscapes
- Strong communication and closing skills
- Very good German and good English, written and spoken
