About the role

  • Lab49 is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead and shape research initiatives in cryptocurrency and foreign exchange (FX). You will partner closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to define research objectives, structure datasets, interpret analytical results, and ensure outputs are both rigorous and relevant. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a research-driven environment, is comfortable managing ambiguity, and can translate complex market dynamics into actionable hypotheses and results.

Requirements

  • Strong domain knowledge in cryptocurrency and FX markets. Background in data analytics, with working knowledge of SQL, Python, or BI tools for exploratory analysis and validation. Experience collaborating on data science and research projects, with the ability to bridge business context and technical execution. Strong stakeholder management skills; able to engage both technical teams and senior business leaders. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including distilling complex research outputs for executive audiences. Consulting or research background with experience in agile, iterative project delivery. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline.
