About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Performing color matching and completing drawdown requests
Managing color/standard database
Communicating with the customer on color match and technical requests
Performing lab functions when working out of the lab
Performing Technical Service at customer locations
Controlling Work-off, press-side technical support, housekeeping and monthly reporting
Handling Inventory management and record-keeping
Following all safety requirements
Dispensing inks, performing color matches, supporting/training ink room staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
Must be able to pass a color vision test
Have the ability and willingness to travel
Be able to match colors effectively
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
Effectively communicate with peers and customers
Have excellent written, reading comprehension and basic math skills
Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
Associate degree from 2-year college or trade school (a plus)
Previous ink inplant experience (a plus)
SAP experience and proficient with Microsoft Suite programs (a plus)
3-5 years in the ink industry and experience in commercial printing (a plus)
