About the role
- Reporting to the Director of Sales; focus on customer acquisition within the P&C Insurance Carrier industry
- Engage new potential clients, client business referrals, and web leads; cultivate relationships with existing InvoiceCloud partners to drive referrals
- Deliver sales presentations and demos to provide prospective clients with clear understanding of services
- Create tailored solutions and consult with prospects and clients throughout the sales process
- Predominantly inside sales with some travel required
- Develop deep understanding of the Invoice Cloud platform, value proposition, and sales methodology
- Gain proficiency with Invoice Cloud’s sales tools and processes, including Salesforce.com
- Build and manage a large account list within your territory; prospect and generate new business opportunities
- Collaborate with partnership managers to strengthen referral channels
- Progress opportunities through the sales cycle, close deals, and meet quota
- Contribute to team success by sharing insights and supporting continuous improvement
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of closing experience in IT or software sales
- Industry expertise preferred (P&C | Consumer Finance)
- Payment or billing software sales experience a plus
- Familiarity with process-oriented sales methodologies (MEDDICC, MEDDPICC, Value Selling)
- Self-starter who is motivated, curious, and dedicated to success
- Proven track record of achieving quota and strong tenure at prior employer(s)
- Strong phone presence, business acumen, and consultative sales skills
- Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and presentation abilities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
