About the role
- Create and maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect documentation.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs and platform functionality.
- Write test cases using Gherkin language following the BDD testing approach.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and automation frameworks such as Karate API.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing documentation and validating results with stakeholders.
- Document defects clearly and collaborate with development teams to ensure proper issue resolution.
- Produce video documentation and walkthroughs explaining platform functionality, defects, or testing processes when needed.
- Participate in smoke testing, regression testing, and release validation activities.
- Contribute to the implementation of QA standards, guidelines, and internal testing processes.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools such as Windsurf or similar platforms to improve testing productivity and automation workflows.
- Work with multiple development environments and IDEs to support testing and automation.
- Present testing results, platform demonstrations, and QA findings to clients and stakeholders when required.
Requirements
- Knowledge or experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) practices
- Experience writing test cases using Gherkin language (BDD)
- Knowledge of Python for automation or scripting
- Experience with Cucumber for automation testing
- Experience with Karate API for API automation testing
- Experience using Postman for API testing and validation
- Experience working with multiple IDEs and development environments
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development or automation tools such as Windsurf
- Ability to create and maintain clear and structured QA documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering (preferred) or four years of equivalent working experience developing Web applications
- QA or software development certifications are strongly preferred. (ISTQB, ASTQB)
- Must be a U.S. citizen and a U.S. resident
- Must be bilingual (Spanish and English)
