About the role
- Execute UAT test cases for mortgage-related system updates, enhancements, and defect fixes
- Validate functionality against business and regulatory requirements
- Document test results, defects, and discrepancies with clear, actionable detail
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams to resolve issues
- Provide secondary support for production-related inquiries and system issues
- Assist in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation when needed
- Support release validation and post-deployment verification activities
- Maintain testing documentation, including test plans, scripts, and results
Requirements
- Experience in mortgage operations (e.g., origination, processing, underwriting, or servicing)
- Strong understanding of mortgage workflows, documentation, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with UAT, QA testing, or system implementations
- Proficiency with testing tools, issue tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with LOS platforms (e.g., Vesta, LauraMac, or similar) (Preferred)
- Experience working in Agile or project-based environments (Preferred)
- Knowledge of mortgage regulatory requirements (Preferred)
- Experience with Docs/Docutech packages (Preferred)
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Bloomington, MN (Preferred)
